Couleurs de Plantes^® was established in early 2005 as a continuation of a research project initiated in 1995 by the Regional Center for Horticultural Innovation and Technology Transfer (« CRITT horticole ») in Rochefort-sur-Mer, only a few kilometers south of La Rochelle, in the department of Charente-Maritime.

Our company cultivates dye plants and produces various innovative natural dyes in powder or liquid form for industrial applications in the field of cosmetics, textiles, coloring of eco-materials, paints…. but also for applications related to creative and artistic activities.

Our approach is integrated in the development of products of natural sources, the search for raw materials of renewable origin, with the environment and sustainable development at the forefront of our preoccupations, but also in a concern for originality, quality and aesthetics of our products.
